The Minnesota Timberwolves picked up their ninth win of the season by finishing strong in a 102-101 win over the Miami Heat on Wednesday night at Target Center.

The Wolves closed out the Heat with 26 points in the fourth quarter while also playing strong defense in holding Miami to just 18 points in the final stanza.

Kevin Martin led the Wolves with 30 points in 40 minutes, including the eventual game-winning basket with :41 seconds left in the game.

Hassan Whiteside had an amazing game for the Heat with 24 points on 12-13 shooting while also pulling down 20 rebounds (nine offensive).

The Wolves host the Grizzlies on Friday night at Target Center.
