Wolves Lose To Denver In A Clunker Wednesday

The Denver Nuggets beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 78-74 Wednesday night at Target Center, sending the Wolves to their 15th loss in their past 19 games.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the Wolves with 14 points and 14 rebounds, and Nikola Pekovic scored 12 points in his first game since March 11, 2015.

Minnesota falls to 12-24 with the loss and will host the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday night at Target Center. The game can be heard on AM 1240 WJON beginning with the pregame show at 6:45 p.m.
