The Timberwolves used a ridiculous 47 point first quarter to beat the Lakers for the first time in 23 games last night 113-90. It was the first Wolves win in Los Angeles since 2005 and first overall since 2007.

Ricky Rubio had a triple-double for the Wolves with 12 pts, 10 rebounds, 14 assists and five steals. Kevin Love and Nikola Pekovic each had double-doubles for Minnesota as well.

Tonight the Wolves are in the same Staples Center,  but playing against a different opponent. The LA Clippers host Minnesota tonight at 9 PM. (1390 The Fan, 9 PM).
