The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 101-93 Sunday in Memphis. The Wolves had lost eleven straight to the Grizzlies before Sunday's victory.

Minnesota jumped out to a 28-17 lead after the first quarter and fended off a late Grizzlies rally to earn their twelfth win of the season. The Wolves are now 12-12 and in tenth place in the Western Conference, two games behind the Dallas Mavericks.

Kevin Love led Minnesota with 30 points while pulling down nine rebounds and blocking three shots. JJ Barea added 15 points off the bench for the Wolves, who play at Boston Monday night.
