The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Sacramento Kings 104-102 Sunday night at Target Center. The Wolves improve to 33-32 with the win but remain 5.5 games out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

The Kings got 27 points from guard Isaiah Thomas, including a pair of three pointers late in the game that kept things close.

Minnesota was paced by another big night from Kevin Love, who scored 26 points with ten rebounds and six assists. Kevin Martin scored 31 points in the win, including a perfect 14-14 mark from the free throw line.

The Wolves are at seventh-place Dallas on Wednesday night. Minnesota trails the Mavericks by six games in the conference playoff race.
