The Minnesota Timberwolves (13-42) dumped the visiting Washington Wizards (33-25) 97-77 last night at the Target Center in Minneapolis. It was Kevin Garnett's first game back in a Wolves jersey -- scoring 5 points, with 8 rebounds and 2 assists in front of a sold-out crowd.

Kevin Martin was the leading Minnesota scorer with 28 points, Andrew Wiggins added 19. Pekovic had 13 rebounds for the Wolves, and Rubio came up with 4 steals. Garnett & Wiggins each had a pair of blocked shots.

Next up for the Timberwolves; tomorrow night at the Chicago Bulls ay 7 PM (Radio: 1240 WJON, TV: Fox Sports North).
