The Miami Heat benefited from a questionable ejection in defeating the Timberwolves Monday night at Target Center.

The Heat won their fifteenth straight game, a franchise record, while at the same time sending the Wolves to their sixth straight loss with a 97-81 win at Target Center Monday.

The Wolves trailed 76-70 when JJ Barea got tangled up with Miami's Ray Allen. Barea gave Allen a chest bump that send the Heat guard sprawling to the hardwood. Barea was ejected from the game for the contact, which was termed a "non-basketball play" by officials.

Miami sunk both free throws and pulled away with the game following the technical foul.

Miami's Dwayne Wade led all scorers with 32 points and ten assists, and LeBron James had a double-double for the Heat with 20 points and ten rebounds.

Derrick Williams led the Wolves with 25 points and ten rebounds. Ricky Rubio had 14 points, eight assists and six steals.
