The New York Yankees beat the Minnesota Twins 6-3 Tuesday night at Target Field. The Twins fall to 47-46 on the season and trail Cleveland by 1.5 games in the American League Central.

Bartolo Colon made his Twins debut and cruised through four innings before getting touched up for a handful of runs in the fifth inning. Colon finished with a line of four innings pitched, with four runs allowed on eight hits and no walks, and was charged with the loss.

Miguel Sano hit a solo home run for the Twins, and Max Kepler finished 2-5, but the Twins left 12 runners on base in the loss.

The two teams will play the rubber match of the series Wednesday afternoon at 12:10. The game can be heard on our sister station AM 1240 WJON.
