As I reported earlier this week, Metallica performed a never before heard tune at the Filmore in San Francisco.

The group is performing four shows there this week in honor of their 30th anniversary.

During their performance last Wednesday night (December 7th) they performed another 'new' song and like the previous one, it's an outtake from 2008's Death Magentic.

The song is called "Just a Bullet Away", and like the other song "Hate Train", a copy of it was e mailed out to members of the band's fan club.

"We're pretty excited to be bringing these songs back to life nearly four years after they were recorded. Once again, this is the unpolished version of the song -- the original rough mix from March of 2008 in its rawest, untouched form", the band said in a statement.

The Wedensady night show was also noteable due to the appearance of a special guest: Kid Rock joined the band onstage for it's cover of Bob Seger's "Turn the Page" which they covered on their album Garage Incorporated.

The four shows, which are for fan club members only, wind down this tonight (December 9th) and Saturday (December 10th), with more guests likely.

Give "Bullet" a listen and watch the Kid Rock performance below!
