Your Love of Black Coffee May Mean You’re a Psychopath

Wait...what?!

It gets tougher and tougher to find studies that make me look like a genius.

The latest WTF study comes out of the University of Innsbruck in Austria, and claims that people who prefer their coffee as black as their soul the vast infinite darkness possible are more likely to be psychopathic and anti-social.

Well...sh*t.

The study was published in the journal Appetite.

The researchers studied the taste preferences of 1000 people and found those that preferred flavors bitter like my outlook on life were more likely to have personalities described as "...dark, psychopathic, narcissistic, and sadistic."

Did they make sure that this black coffee was good black coffee?

Coffee in general tends to lift your mood, improve brain function, and has even been shown to decrease risk for some cancers. And coffee minus the cream and sugar gives you the benefits without the extra calories.

It just might also mean you're batsh*t crazy.

Fortunately the study was small and the results were self-reported (although who self-reports as a psychopath?), so the researchers may have just stumbled upon a group of black coffee-drinking nutjobs.
