40 Years Of Classic Rock, 1973 – 2013 Part Three – Queen, ‘Queen’ [VIDEOS]
It didn't take long for Queen to establish a unique sound and style, all it took was their debut album, 'Queen'.
Queen's debut album showed us they are valid in hard rock, heavy metal and the progressive rock sound with most songs on it written by Brian May (guitar) and Freddie Mercury (vocals).
"Liar" and "Keep Yourself Alive"were the only two released as singles yet neither of the two charted, interestingly enough it was the first and last time that any Queen album would not release a charting single.
Original LP Track List:
- "Keep Yourself Alive"
- "Doing All Right"
- "Great King Rat"
- "My Fairy King"
Side 2
- "Liar"
- "The Night Comes Down"
- "Modern Times Rock 'N' Roll"
- "Son and Daughter"
- :Jesus"
- "Seven Seas of Rhye" (instrumental)
Happy 40th anniversary as we revisit 1973 with some great landmark classic rock releases.
