80’s Icon and Fiance Split

An 80's rock icon has called off another engagement. Who is it this time?

Poison front man Bret Michaels says he and fiance Kristi Gibson have called off their engagement.

Someone claiming to be from Bret's camp tells People Magazine that even though the two are no longer together, they, "Remain great friends and are committed to jointly raising their two daughters." Their two daughters are 12 and seven. Bret and Kristi have been engaged for two years. He finally proposed to her two years ago after being "together" since 1996. If you watched Bret's reality show Life As I Know It, you likely saw him pop the question.

Props to Kristi for standing by Bret through all the B.S. and his health problems. Apparently she took the "forsaking all others, for better or worse, in sickness and in health" seriously.

VH1 is likely salivating at the prospect of another reality show starring Bret. Stay tuned.
