They were truly a revolutionary group. Unfortunately, frontman Chris Cornell passed away in 2017 due to an apparent suicide. He was so well respected amongst his musical peers that almost every known rock musician from the grunge movement showed up to pay their respects at the recent Chris Cornell “I Am The Highway” tribute concert.

Artists such as Foo Fighters, Metallica, Jack Black, Ryan Adams, Miley Cirus, Adam Levine, Chris Stapleton, and the remaining members of Soundgarden and Audioslave performed in honor of the late singer. You can check out the full concert online now.
