It amazes me how many of some of the great blues guitar players have been either an influence or a primary influence to the guitar players of today, so on that note let me introduce you to B.B.. King.

B.B. King is a 'master' blues guitar musician and among the many that have absorbed his style to incorporate that in their own way of playing are three of the best, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy and Jimi Hendrix.

In Rolling Stone's Greatest guitar players of all time B.B. King ranks third behind that of Duane Allman and Jimi Hendrix.

B.B. King still performs to this day, not near the heavy tour schedule as once before but now in his 80's  yet still sound sweet as ever.

Noted for playing at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Festival in 2007 and the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in 2008.

B.B. King has played more than 15,000  live shows over the course of 50 years, that my friend is music history.

The attached video is B.B. King performing at Sing Sing prison and he says it's one of his best performances.
