Keyboard great Lonnie Jordan, if not mistaken; is still the only original member of 'War' left in the lineup. The multi-racial band 'War' is the original idea of Eric Burdon ( The Animals,War) and producer Jeff Goldstein.

'War' could be classified as part funk, part psychedelic even part reggae and their music takes a stand against racism, hunger and even crime.

They released some great songs, "Low Rider", "Why Can't We Be Friends" and "Spill The Wine", "The Cisco Kid" and "The World Is a Ghetto".

The band has recorded and performed non-stop since 1969 when they formed.  Eric Burdon performed with Lonnie at The Royal Albert Hall in 2008 as 'War'.

Attached is  Eric and Lonnie with 'War' performing, "Spill The Wine".
