13 January 1967, Probably The Rolling Stones greatest two sided sixties hit, one side controversial the other a ballad which DJ's played back in that time frame because of the direct come-on in "Let's Spend The night Together."

One may have heard, "Ruby Tuesday" versus "Let's Spend the Night Together" because of it's direct effect from the lyrics, yet the song fascinating in itself established itself as a very enthusiastic piece referring to the liberating effects of the sexual revolution enveloped with a moody reflection of what freedom entails.

The song basically stops just short of true regret.
