Memorable Classic Rock Guitar Licks, Part Two, ZZ Top, “La Grange” [VIDEOS]

One could almost say that the delivery of the lyrics by Billy Gibbons on "La Grange" is right up there with a memorable guitar lick.

Pretty clear that the success of "La Grange" was that delivery but the argument could be that the lyrical interpretation alone would not have made the song itself.

According to Rolling Stone Magazine about the song, "a standard for guitarists to show off their chops", essentially what the magazine called,"muscular boogie."
