Ziggy, The Active Dog Waiting For Adoption At TriCounty Humane So

This morning I spoke with Kate from the Tri-County Humane Society about their latest adoptale featured pet, Ziggy!

THIS WEEK'S FEATURED PET DOES NEED TO EXERCISE & LOVES PEOPLE

Ziggy is a loveable pet that actually needs some extra exercise. He loves to be outside playing, riding in a golf cart or a car, or just running around. If you are wanting a pet, and you have an active lifestyle, Ziggy might be the pet for you! Ziggy loves his people, mostly men, and most dogs. But sometimes he gets a little jealous of another dog, so if you have a resident dog, you might want to do a meet and greet with Ziggy. If you happen to have a house cat, this might not work as well. Ziggy likes to chase cats.

YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS THIS EVENT COMING UP END OF SEPTEMBER

Tri-County Humane Society also has a great event coming up later this month. It's the Companion Walk otherwise known as Woofstock. They have some great t-shirts available for this event too, it's a take on Woodstock and they are available while supplies last. Pre-register for the event and you will get a t-shirt. Pre-registration ends this Friday.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR THIS HUGE FUNDRAISER

The event is scheduled for September 26th at Wilson Park here in St. Cloud. There are several events scheduled during the day including vendors and exhibitors, food and drink, activities for dogs and kids, live music by Merritt Bussiere, a silent auction, and, of course, a pet-friendly walk!

MAYBE WE CAN TOP LAST YEAR'S NUMBERS

The event is on that Saturday from 10am to 2pm. This is a great family friendly event and one of the biggest and most important fundraisers for animals. Last year the net profit was $50K and the Tri-County Humane Society is hoping to top that number this year! And they should be able to do that with your help.
