Adrian Peterson's Case Against NFL Heard Yesterday In Court

Adrian Peterson's lawsuit against the NFL, asking for immediate reinstatement, was heard yesterday in a Minneapolis courtroom. There's no indication when a ruling might be handed down. Outside the courthouse, purple-clad fans greeted Peterson warmly. When asked if he wants to return to the Vikings, AP replied, "Of course."

If the court rules in favor of the NFL Peterson's return to the team will be delayed until April 15th at the earliest. The NFLPA is asking the court to send the case back to an arbitrator to overturn Peterson's suspension immediately.
