Aerosmith is heating up the summer.  The band has announced their Global Warming North American summer tour, kicking off June 16 at the Target Center. Tickets go on sale Friday March 30 and March 31 at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.

In a statement, Steven Tyler declared, "The old Aerosmith is back with a new vengeance and we will kick your ass and make out with your mothers."  Joe Perry added, ""Can't wait to bring this band back home. It feels like we've been away too long."

Tom Hamilton chimed in, "After touring Japan and South America last year we're psyched about bringing it all back for the hometown fans.  We're going to break out the classics, the hits and maybe even some of the new ones we've been banging out in the studio.  Can't wait to get to Minneapolis!"

In an added surprise, they've signed on the legendary Cheap Trick to open their shows. Listen all this week for your chance to win tickets to the show before you can buy them.

Cheap Trick will also be playing a solo show at Grand Casino Mille Lacs on May 12th. You can win tickets for that show by clicking here.
