Around the Town: Granite City Days Revs Into High Gear [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD -- Festival season is revving into high gear as Granite City Days moves into the weekend.

With canoeing down the Mississippi River, a 5k, and plenty of food throughout town, the entire city is ready to have fun.

Mayor Dave Kleis reminds us that our river helps with an all-important part of festival season.

"The nice thing about the Mississippi River, best tasting water in the state, unfortunately we didn't win the national contest but, it makes for some great tasting beer."

The grand parade kicks off Saturday cutting through downtown, and the rest of the weekend will have concerts, more food and dozens of other fun things through town.
