Jordan Barth Joins The Banana Ball League With Texas Tailgaters
St. Cloud Rox fans have another reason to follow one of the newest sports leagues on TV. A former St. Cloud Rox player was recently drafted to play banana ball, making this at least the 2nd former Rox player to be in the league. Congrats to Jordan Barth on being drafted. Here's what we know about the team Jordan is going to, and what banana ball is.
Jordan Barth, Former Rox Player, Drafted To Play Banana Ball
The St. Cloud Rox shared the news of one of their former players being picked to play banana ball in 2026. Barth played for the Rox from 2019-2021.
Barth, a Cold Spring native and former ROCORI prep baseball player, was drafted to play for the Texas Tailgaters of the Banana Ball League. Jordan was taken in the second round with the third pick, making him a bigger get, as this player draft went 11 rounds.
When Will We Get A Chance To Watch Jordan Play?
The first chance we might get to see Jordan play is potentially on February 28th, when the Texas Tailgaters host the Savannah Bananas in Tallahassee, Florida. The good news for friends and family is that many of the games are on the Banana Ball YouTube page, and of course, when tickets are made available you could also go and watch in person.
Looking ahead at more of the schedule for 2026, it doesn't look like the Texas Tailgaters will be playing in Minnesota, as the league is scheduled to bring the Loco Beach Coconuts to town to play the Savannah Bananas for three games in August.

Good luck to Jordan on the upcoming season, and if you see a Texas Tailgaters jersey at the Rock Pile this summer, you now know why.
