Baxter’s Attic, Led Zeppelin “Nobody’s Fault But Mine”
A great tune in the Attic this morning. This song was inspired by an American blues singer from the 1920s named Blind Willie Johnson. Zeppelin fans speculated the song was about Jimmy Page's blossoming heroin addiction. During the recording Jimmy Page overdubbed the guitar intro 3 times, each guitar one octave higher than the others. Robert Plant was still recovering from a serious car accident and had to do his vocals from a wheelchair. Enjoy!
