Nobody can deny that Steve Miller was a rock staple in the 70's and 80's. if you've ever been to a Steve Miller show you realize just how many big hits he's had in his career.
Miller started guitar at the age of 6 and as a young lad, having a family friend like Les Paul to mentor him just seemed to solidify what was to be.
Born in Milwaukee and following the music seen around the country, Miller was exposed to several different music scenes and pulled from them all. Chicago, New York, Dallas and finally packing up and heading to San Francisco.
When Steve first arrived in San Francisco, he spent his last 5 dollars on a Paul Butterfield Blues Band concert ticket. It was then he decided to become a part of the San Francisco music scene.
