Need to get out?  I think everyone feels a bit of "cooped up" disease during this time of social distance.  Yes, more things have opened up, but it's still not back to normal living  And pretty much every summer activity has been cancelled.  But you can still get out and enjoy some of the cool things that the St. Cloud area has to offer, like some hiking paths.

A couple of years ago, I discovered the trails around Tiffany Park I and Tiffany Park II.  It's pretty cool.  If you, or if you have kids that are into BMX type of biking or four wheeling, there is a portion in the middle of the woods, that the trails lead you to that is perfect for that type of activity.  Hills, small jumps and that sort of thing. It's hidden, but follow the trails and you will find it.

Quarry Park Nature Reserve- Waite Park

This is a great area.  There are several trails around where you can explore what nature has to offer along with leading you to some swimming areas.

Kraemer Lake- Wildwood County Park- St Joseph

Along with cool hiking areas, there are also some nice scenic overlooks.

Warner Lake County Park- Clearwater

Great place to take the family. They have some shelters so you could have a picnic there, plus a lot of areas to hike around and explore.

Bend in the River Regional Park- Rice

Great walk along the Mississippi River.  Basically undeveloped, or underdeveloped, so beware and prepare for that.

Rockville County Park - Rockville

There are paths and trails, along with viewing areas and place to just explore.  Spend all day there, or just a couple of hours.

Sand Prairie Wildlife - Southeast part of St Cloud

It's a huge area that is a glacial flood plane that you can go and check out and view and observe wildlife.  Teaching moment!

Then, of course, there is the area out at St. John's University - Collegeville.

This has got to be one of my favorite areas in the Fall.  You can't get much better than this during that time of year.

For all of the exploring areas in and around St. Cloud whether it's a long, all day event or you just would like a short stroll, check all of these areas here.
