My dad wasn't wrong about much but his prediction the Stones would fizzle was way off.  He made the quote as we were gathered around the TV for the Ed Sullivan Show.  45 years later the Rolling Stones are still selling out large venues making them, probably, the most successful music act ever.  Enjoy this video from 1966.
