Camp Ripley Open House This Sunday

Every other year, Camp Ripley opens it's doors to the public for a community appreciation Open House -- and that day is this Sunday, September 20th from 10 AM to 2 PM. The event is free to attend, and features military equipment, law enforcement displays, the military museum, kids activities, food & drink, and much more.

Additionally there will be a classic car show, environmental displays, HummV rides, and green energy displays. I went two years ago, and it's very cool. You can climb in most of the military equipment -- and learn about it all from the men & women who actually use the stuff. It really is a day the whole family will enjoy.

Getting there from St. Cloud is easy. Just head west on Highway 10, and branch off north on Highway 371 at Little Falls. Signs to Camp Ripley will lead you the rest of the way.
