Celebrate the 4th at this All American Event in Foley

This is a week where a lot of people will have a little more time than normal on their hands because of the holiday. Some people will be heading out of town on vacation, but for others, they’ll be keeping their options open around home.

If you’re looking for something fun to do on Thursday, for the 4th of July, you should consider checking out the car show being put on by Beaudreau's Bar. This holiday event will be held in Foley at Jim and Jack’s Food and Liquor. 

If you’ve got a car that you would like to show, there’s no entry fee for this show, so bring it out and show the community what you’ve got.  

There will be prizes for first, second and third place. They will also reward the car owner who traveled the furthest to be there, and club participation as well.  

This car show will be open from 10-2, which should work around most of the plans people make on the 4th of July.  

There will be raffle prizes given out during the day as well.  

And when you get hungry while looking at all the sweet rides that will be on hand, step inside Jim and Jack’s. Their website says they’ve been serving good food since 1936.  

They offer breakfast and lunch items, so there’s sure to be something there that will hit the spot. You could also stop back around on another day and see them for dinner, they offer a complete dinner menu too.  

There is rain in the forecast, it might be a good idea to pay attention to the social media pages of both locations for any changes.

Americans love their cars, and this is a great way to celebrate the freedoms that we celebrate each year at this time.
