Cool Cat Ziva Needs A Good Home
We talked to Kate from Tri County Humane Society this morning about this week's adoptable pet. Ziva is at the shelter because the other cats in the house were not very nice to her. So, Ziva needs a home she can reside comfortably in.
Meet Ziva!. Ziva came to TCHS due to possible litterbox aversion. However, the other cats in the home were bullying him, which is likely the cause. He was described as being the "most snuggly cat". Due to him being fearful of the other cats in his previous home, he would likely do best in a home without any other felines or with a laid-back one. He is afraid of thunder storms and will hide under the bed.
He is used to being on a harness and leash. He would love to have a scratching post in his new home. He doesn't play with many toys but enjoys string toys and catnip. Was described as being vocal. Isn't a fan of belly rubs. Was used to having an electric water fountain to drink from. Enjoys looking out the window. Was ok with children in the past. It is unknown how he does with dogs.
Slow and proper introductions are recommended when introducing new pets or people. Would benefit from the use of Feliway in his new home to help adjust to a new environment. Canned food in addition to a high-quality kibble are recommended. Is used to being on a sensitive digestion diet.
