Almost everyone has seen the movies and/or read the books.  And if you haven't, you still know who Harry Potter is, and you are familiar with the story of the young wizard.

SO MANY WAYS TO ENJOY THE WORLD OF HARRY POTTER

There is even a whole area at Universal Studios where you can pretend and feel like you are part of the world of Harry Potter.  And now, the story is continuing on the stage.

READY TO SEE HARRY AS AN ADULT WITH HIS OWN KIDS

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is now playing at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis.  And bonus - a person originally from Minneapolis is playing the adult version of Harry Potter.

From KARE 11:

The six-time Tony award-winning play's arrival in Minneapolis is a full circle moment for the actor who plays the title character. "It's everything I wanted to tell this company of actors that we would have here. It's been that and more," said Nick Dillenburg, who plays Harry Potter as an adult.

THIS IS NOW A CONTINUATION OF THE ORIGINAL HARRY POTTER STORIES

If you are expecting this to be another story about a young Harry Potter - it is not.  We are now almost 20 years later, and Harry now has his own children.  What's even crazier is, if you are familiar with the stories, you know what an issue Harry and Draco Malfoy had throughout the books.  Now, Harry's son and Draco's son are friends.  See how things can change?

"We just now find Harry at more of a midlife crisis kind of point. They call him a stone-cold bureaucrat in the play. This is him as a dad with three kids, not quite the adventure-seeking, getting into trouble, kind of young man that he was but more a stasis, midlife crisis kind of point"...

THE STAGE SHOW IS RUNNING THROUGH MAY 17TH IN MINNEAPOLIS

If you loved the original stories, it would be fun to see this evolution of events.  The show is playing now through May 17th.  You can get tickets now through Ticketmaster. Tickets are available for several shows, but some have limited availability.  So if you would like to go on a specific day, you should look now to purchase.
