You know, there are a handful of bands and artists that make it impossible to be sad when they play their upbeat tunes. Among them – Van Hagar (Yes, Van HAGAR, I didn’t stutter) Journey, and Aerosmith.

But one of the most fun, upbeat, soulful groups around is Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. “Teach Your Children” “I Almost Cut My Hair” and “Our House” are timeless, fun tunes. I dig it. I’ve always been a fan of their writing chemistry. I rank them right up there with Paul McCartney and John Lennon, and Simon and Garfunkel. Davids’s guitar licks with Stephen’s smooth, silky voice is a recipe for perfection.

These guys have been active since the 60s, and they still aren’t showing any signs of slowing down. They have a handful of dates booked for 2019, but unfortunately, none of them happen to be in Minnesota. However, Daisy Dillman will be performing a tribute to Crosby Stills Nash and Young. The show will take place at the Le Musique Room in St. Michael on Saturday, November 30th. It starts at 8 pm and tickets are available online now.
