The underrated singer Sandy Denny is generally identified with Fairport Convention, the pioneering U.K. ensemble that fused traditional British folk music with rock.

Catch his vocal talent on such recordings as 'Unhalfbricking' and 'Liege & Lief'. However; Sandy wasn't the bands original vocalist.

Judy Dyble with Lain Matthews shared vocals on the original vocalist featured on their debut album, 'Fairport Conventiom'.

Judy left the band after the debut which left the door wide open for Sandy Denny and things really changed for the band for the better.
