MY DREAM ADVENT CALENDAR

Growing up, I didn't have an Advent Calendar, so I thought it might be fun to create an imaginary one for myself. Each day for the next 24 days, I'm going to find something around Minnesota to feature in my Advent Calendar. If you have suggestions for me, let me know at kelly.cordes@townsquaremedia.com.

I'm looking for local, Minnesota-proud products or services to add to my calendar.  Whether it's a small gift, a certificate to a restaurant, or a local store, you never know what you might find in my calendar this year.

DAY 1  HEAVENLY TREATS HANDCRAFTED TOFFEE

For several years now, I've shopped Heavenly Treats booth at the 'Made in Minnesota' event, and this year was no exception. There's just something so special about Heavenly Treats Handcrafted toffee.

When I open Day 1 of my Advent Calendar, I will find a small 3-ounce bag of Handcrafted Toffee, and I'll be thrilled!

Choosing a flavor might be the hardest part. I could go with the traditional Milk Chocolate, but what about, Peppermint, Coffee Mocha, Orange Twist, Peanut Butter, or Dark chocolate? I think this year I'm going to find Peppermint.

Since Heavenly Treats toffee is made fresh and with natural ingredients, they recommend storing it in the freezer for up to six months...but I promise you; it won't last a day at my house.

After visiting their website I learned that their Handcrafted Toffee is available in 1 pound premium boxes.
