Hiking Trail in Minnesota So Good, It Has Won an Award
I know that if you are into hiking, you probably know where all of the great hiking trails are around Minnesota, and also in the 5 state region.
It's a great weekend thing to do, get out, drive around and get out and just enjoy nature. There are so many great places to get out and see things that you don't normally get to see and do when you are in Central Minnesota. Granted, there are some great trails around this area too, but the scenery is much better either North or South of here.

AWARD FOR THE 10 BEST IN THE NATION
Now, Minnesota has a hiking trail that has won an award! Did you even know that there were awards that were given out for great trails? I certainly didn't, or I just hadn't paid attention to that in the past.
USA Today puts out the annual list of the 10 Best- Reader's Choice Awards. And this time, it's the 10 Best hiking trails in the United States. There is a hiking trail up by Grand Marais, and it has been chosen as the best in the USA.
DEVILS KETTLE TRAIL
First of all, strange name, right?
The really unique thing about the Devil's Kettle waterfall on the trail is that it splits into two waterfalls, and one seems to magically disappear. Apparently geologists can't seem to figure out how this phenomenon happens. But it's pretty cool.
The trail is a bit tricky and takes about an hour to complete. But there are several benches set up throughout the trail so that if you need to take a rest, there are opportunities to do that too. Plus, it's super scenic, so great photo opportunities.
