UNDATED - The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is saying we are going to have a great year for fall colors.

The DNR says the high amounts of rain and sun throughout the summer are big reasons why this seasons colors are expected to be so vibrant.

Charles A. Lindbergh State Park is already starting to see trees change color, and in some cases even losing their leaves. Maple Leaves are starting to change and goldenrod is blooming at Lake Maria State Park.

Every Thursday throughout fall the DNR will update its website on where you can find peak color changes around Minnesota. You can find a link to the DNR website below.
