Elton John Says Goodbye

It’s pretty rare to see an artist now a-days with any degree of longevity. The majority of singers and musicians that you hear on the radio typically have their fifteen minutes of fame, and then they’re yesterday’s news. But that wasn’t always the case.

There was a golden era of music just a few decades ago when artists had integrity, and were in for the long haul. They sure don’t make ‘em like they used to. Among all the greats that emerged from that era, there’s one that stands out in particular.

I’m talking about the man, the legend - Elton John. “Sir” Elton John to be exact. He’s been pumping out hit songs for nearly 50 years. “Rocket Man” “Candle In The Wind” and “Tiny Dancer” are timeless classics in my book. Not to mention “Circle Of Life” from “The Lion King” soundtrack. Unfortunately, he recently stated that he would be retiring, and announced his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour.

Luckily for we Minnesotans, he’s playing back to back shows at Target Center in Minneapolis on February 21st and 22nd of 2019. Tickets start at $106 and are on sale now. Don’t miss out, it’ll be your last chance to this legend!
