Love Escape Rooms? Best in the Country Here in Minnesota

I have always loved trying to figure out puzzles.  They can be fun, give you a sense of accomplishment, and usually challenging.  Although that last part can be on a scale.  Something that can be challenging for one person might not be challenging at all for the next person.

The last few years, escape rooms have been popping up all over the place.  Kind of like the fascination with speakeasys.  They each have their own "thing".  Different decor, amenities and ways to solve the puzzle.  Speakeasy - how to get in the room.  And escape room, how to get out of the room.

I love the escape rooms that we have here in the St Cloud area.  Also how they are always changing it up, and adding different themes and challenges.  Especially when they are interactive and team building.  It's a great way to learn to work together, when you really cannot accomplish the task without working with others on your team.

We recently learned that we have the best escape room in the country right here in Minnesota.  There are a lof of lists, best ofs, and readers/peoples choice awards being publicized.  And I'm totally here for it.

This time it's Newsweek.  This is a readers choice award and the top one has been given to an escape room that is located in St. Paul.

If you love dark academia brewed with a spoonful of paranormal, then the Lodge of Lazarus Crowe is your cup of tea. Brush up your elixir-making skills in the Apothecary, one of the easier scenarios, or dial up the difficulty in the Arcane Library as you attempt to rein in unstable magic. Afterward, you can raise a glass to victory with cocktails at the delightfully macabre Hourglass Cafe & Bar.
