Famous Albums You Didn’t Know Were Recorded In Minnesota
It’s no secret that Minnesota’s music scene is pretty legendary. It's one of the trademarks of the state. Even if we were without Bob Dylan and Prince, our musical community and history is among the most renowned in the world. As a musician myself, it’s something that makes me proud to be a Minnesotan.
Now, it should come as no surprise that both Bob Dylan and the late Prince have both recorded in the land of 10,000 lakes, but I was quite surprised to see just how many other prominent albums have been tracked here. Without further ado, let’s take a look at some famous albums you probably didn’t know were recorded in right here in Minnesota.
- In Utero – Nirvana (this one SERIOUSLY shocked me!)
- Grave Dancers Union – Soul Asylum
- Hollywood Town Hall – The Jayhawks
- Rid Of Me – PJ Harvey
- Foolish – Superchunk
