
Looks Like Another Clothing Store in St. Cloud is Closing
Alright - this is never good to hear. But another women's/juniors clothing store will be closing soon.
AFTER HEARING ABOUT A BIG RETAILER CLOSING, ANOTHER ONE ANNOUNCED
Just a couple of weeks ago we learned that Macy's is closing their St. Cloud location. The parent company, Macy's Inc has had some financial issues for years, but so far, Macy's St. Cloud had remained open. Until now.
Now, we hear that national chain Francesca's will be closing all of their stores nationwide including the 10 stores that are located here in Minnesota. That does include the small-ish store that is located in the Crossroad's Mall.
WOMEN'S BOUTIQUE IN CROSSROADS MALL IS CLOSING
Francesca's is known for casual women's clothes, dresses, jewelry, gifts and other accessories. They currently have 10 stores in Minnesota all will be "closing soon". There is no actual date on when they will be permantely closed, but sales are going on now if you check out the Francesca's website.
The metro area has a Francesca's in most of the main malls such as the Mall of America, Twin Cites Premium Outlets located in Eagan, Ridgedale, Rosedale, Eden Prairie Center, Woodbury as well as locations in Rochester, here in St. Cloud, and also Mankato and Duluth.
REPORTS THAT THEY HAVE HAD FINANCIAL TROUBLES FOR YEARS
Francesca's originated in Houston, Texas and grew from there. The plan is to liquidate all the goods in all locations,m and then close all locations.

If the firing or laying off of all of their staff is actually true - then who is running the sales in the stores? It doesn't state this, but it would seem that they are keeping a skeleton staff until the closure. So, if you are looking for some great deals on some cute clothing for a vacation or summer or whatever - check out the sales before they close.
