Free Colon Cancer Screening Kits Available

ST. CLOUD - You can get a free colon cancer screening kit during this National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

Anyone over 50 years old can get the free test from the drive-up window at CentraCare Pharmacy at St. Cloud Hospital or from Coborn Cancer Center. But, the kits are limited.

A colonoscopy is recommended if you are older than 50, have a family history of cancer, or a history of colitis, Chrohn's, or related diseases.

Every year more than 140,000 Americans are diagnosed with colorectal cancer, and more than 50,000 people die from it.
