George Thorogood Will Perform In Hinckley Tonight

There are really only a handful of singer-songwriters in the history music that made a long term impact on pop culture. Some of them being Bob Dylan, Bob Seger, Kurt Cobain, Bruce Springsteen and James Taylor.

Of course, another name that has to make the list is the one and only – George Thorogood. George is one of the most influential songwriters of all time. I didn’t really appreciate his music until after he went into semi-retirement, but now looking back at his catalogue of music, I have a new found respect for it.

Although it's been quite a while since George has released any new music, I'm thankful that he's at least still touring. George Thorogood and The Destroyers will be coming to Minnesota tonight (June 22nd.) They are performing at the Grand Casino Hinckley Ampitheater (in Hinckley.) The show will begin at 7 pm and there are still some tickets available online now for as cheap as $43.
