MINNESOTA LOTTERY

The Minnesota Lottery has finally made the announcement. The 2025 Minnesota Millionaire Raffle tickets will be ready to purchase beginning October 22nd, 2024. Every year, the Minnesota Millionaire Raffle has sold out of tickets pretty early on and they expect this year to be no different.

The Minnesota Millionaire Raffle is sold ONLY in Minnesota and has cash prizes to win from $50 up to one million dollars.

NEW YEAR'S DAY

The winning numbers will be announced on New Year's Day.

In 2024, approximately 15,600 people won various prizes, with one person claiming one million dollars. The second million-dollar prize remains unclaimed, so if you still have your ticket from last year, you may want to double-check your ticket numbers! Once 2024 is over, it will be too late for the winner to claim their prize.

According to Mnlottery.com, over half of the raffle prizes were claimed in the first two weeks of 2024.

WILL THERE BE ANY CHANGES TO THE MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE THIS YEAR?

Will there be changes or additions to this year's raffle? At this point, there is no further information on the Minnesota Lottery website. Last year was the first time they offered two million dollar winning tickets, so perhaps the winner doesn't realize that there could be more than one winner.

The Minnesota Lottery website features lots of stories from excited winners from last year's game from $100,000 winners down to $50 winners.

I love Angela from Isanti's story:

“I've been playing Raffle since it first came out and have never won anything. This year my strategy was to buy tickets in different towns because my small town never seems to win. While picking up a prescription for my boyfriend on January 2, I decided to scan my tickets and to my surprise, I had two Raffle winners— $50 and $100,000! Come to find out the $100,000 winning ticket was from my town.”
