The Minnesota Gophers (5-5) dominated the Nebraska Cornhuskers (4-6) 54-21 this afternoon at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. #6 St. John's (9-1) beat #18 Concordia-Moorhead (8-2) 10-3 in Collegeville. St. Cloud State's (6-5) season ended with a loss at home to Minot State (3-8) 23-13.

The Gophers rushed for 410 yards against the Huskers as Minnesota crept a game closer to bowl eligibility. A win against either Northwestern (11/18) or Wisconsin (11/25) in the final two weeks of the regular season would send the Gophers to a bowl game.

The Johnnies now wait to hear their NCAA D-III playoff fate Sunday (11/12) afternoon at 4:30 CT when they are expected to be awarded an at-large bid in the 32-team playoff field. As MIAC regular season champs, St. Thomas get the league's automatic bid.

The Huskies season comes to an end with today's loss.
