Gourmet Marshmallows, Healthy and Locally Made

It's a holiday weekend.. 4th of July.  It's going to be a hot one too.  But in case you are feeling like having s'mores; I don't care how hot it is, I love those things.  I will even make them in the microwave if I'm desperate enough.  But roasting marshmallows over the fire is awesome.

How do you like your marshmallows?  Blackened?  Lightly toasted or just so they are gooey?  Whatever way you like them, they are great when mixed with some chocolate and a couple of graham crackers.  What could be better?  I have something that makes this better and takes your marshmallow roasting game to a new level.

North Mallows.  Have you tried these things?  They are made here in Minnesota.  Just a short drive up the road from St. Cloud in Golden Valley.  North Mallows were started by a couple that were camp counselors.  What goes better with camping than s'mores, right?? Plus, they have these great kits too. A few choices within the kit for a pretty reasonable price.  Plus, homemade graham crackers too!

The thing that they wanted to change about traditional marshmallows was all of the "junk" that was in them.  So, they came up with another recipe and perfected it with some other additions.  They are sweetened with agave instead of sugar, and some other ingredients that made a "better mallow".
