Here is Your Minnesota Guide to Area County Fairs for 2024
Rides, food on a stick, beer, exotic foods, regional bands, farm animals, crafts and homemade baked goods. These things and more will be what you can expect to see and experience at a county fair.
County fair time is a great time to get out and explore everything that is Minnesota. When it's nice out, we, as Minnesotans, try and get out as much as we can. It's great to not only see things that people have been working on for the whole year, but also to see people that you may not see other than at your local county fair.
Many people tend to go to the same fair every year. Some are free, some have a fee before you enter the fair. If you do have to pay, sometimes the entertainment might be a on a scale that is higher that some other fairs. The entertainment is always good, but it's sometimes nice to not have to pay an entrance fee. Some of the grandstand events may still have a fee attached, some do not, however.
Here are some of the area county fair dates that you can mark on your calendar. These are also the dates that have been entered in so far, so more could be added as we get closer to these dates.
