There has been a ton of talk and fanfare surrounding the Minnesota native, Bob Dylan's biopic starring Timothee Chalamet.

Chalamet has been working for a few years to make sure that his performance is as authentic as possible.  He's had conversations and spent time with Dylan, as well as visiting many places in Minnesota where he spent time, went to school, etc.  Trying to understand the person he is to portray.  It's got to be challenging when you are playing a real person, who, in fact is still alive.

Now, just in time for the biopic, A Complete Unknown, to come out on Christmas Day, a huge auction has been announced.  There are hand written lyrics, photographs, guitars, and a whole lot more hitting the auction block.

The bidding is open right now, and some of the items already have bids.  Follow this link, and you will be able to see all of the items up for bid, as well as make a bid, if you would like to do that.

The auction, titled "Celebrating Bob Dylan: The Aronowitz Archive, T Bone Burnett & More," will be held at Nashville's Musician's Hall of Fame and Museum on Saturday, Jan. 18. The majority of the items come from the archives of New York music journalist Al Aronowitz, who famously introduced Dylan to The Beatles in 1964.

Might be a great idea to check out the movie, then go see the items on the auction block and see if you can make a bid on an item.  You have almost a month to do this, so why not?  I know that a lot of these items are going to be out of my price range, but how cool would it be to actually win the bid on one or more of these items.  The hand written lyrics will probably bring in a ton of money - one would guess.
