The interrupted performance of Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen in Hyde Park last month will see the light of day.

Fans in London's Hyde Park were none too pleased when city officials literally pulled the plug on Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen's show at Hard Rock Calling in July. Apparently, the pair were violating some sort of noise violation and were cut off as they were wrapping up a rollicking version of Twist and Shout.

Bruce even said right before he brought Paul out on stage that he had been waiting for 50 years for the collaboration to happen, so you can imagine he was just crestfallen when their guitars were silenced. Steven Van Zandt took to Twitter to express his displeasure. CNN was there covering the event, so they were already on scene to talk to disappointed fans and now those who weren't there will be able to see what happened first hand.

Sunday night at 8, VH1 will air Hard Rock Calling 2012 and is promising that viewers will see all of Twist and Shout. The two hour concert will also highlight some of the other acts that were a part of the two night concert including: Soundgarden, Paul Simon, John Fogerty and Robert Plant's bestie Alison Krauss.

In related news, Bruce Springsteen has a big fan in country singer Eric Church. His latest hit Springsteen has already hit number one and has also caught the attention of none other than The Boss himself. Bruce has contacted Eric to give him his seal of approval and he also sent Eric a special gift. Bruce recently performed at Fenway Park and gave Eric a set list from the show with a hand written note on the flip side saying that he liked the song and hopes that they can cross paths sometime. Wow.

In other related news, The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour is being restored and released on DVD and Blu Ray this fall. The film has been out of print for some time, so this is quite exciting.
