It’s Time to Moondance Jam with the Loon!

I always look forward to this time of the year. It's time to Moondance Jam.

Over the years, I've seen so and heard so many great bands. Yes, The Cars w/ Todd Rundgren, Alice Cooper, Sammy Hagar playing in the bar because of storm damage to the main stage,Lita Ford, Joan Jett, and nothing beat the Moody Blues at twilight and the list goes on and on.

Our camper is always in the Media campsite.Year after year we see the same people, some new, from radio stations from all around the region and Canada.

I remember the very first Moondance Jam 27 years ago.  The stage was a flatbed truck. Things have changed quite a bit over the last twenty seven years. The Moondance people have this festival stuff down pat.  Everything is so well organized and well run making it a great time for everyone.
