I’ve Only Celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in Maple Lake and It’s A Blast

St. Patrick's Day is a pretty big deal in Central Minnesota, with many towns celebrating it in a big way.

I'm from Monticello, which is not far from Maple Lake.  The Maple Lake Irish, that is.  With a name like that you know it's going to be a fun night!

I will be completely honest, I've only gone to the part of the celebration where everyone bar hops between about three bars.  Maybe that goes on for a good share of the day but I've just been there at night.  It's so much fun -- you meet all kinds of new people and it's a great place to run into old friends.

I could share some stories but there isn't enough time or space and it would ruin that 'angelic' image I have going for me.  It's a good time out there for sure!

I know some towns around here, including Marty, have some amazing parties for St. Patrick's Day.  What's the best one to hit up?
