WalletHub Names The Best & Worst States To Have A Baby In 2025
WalletHub released yet another study this week, this time releasing a list of the best and worst states to have a baby this year. They looked at a ton of factors in this study, including the average annual infant care cost per year, which is a big one.

Analysts also looked at infant mortality rates, pediatricians per capita, child care centers per capita and more. All of these factors helped craft the ranking of the best to worst states to have a baby. Let's look closer.
Minnesota Named One Of The Best States To Have A Baby
Yay for Minnesota! We were just named the third best state in the entire country to have baby. We were beat out only by Massachusetts and North Dakota this time around. That's not too shabby at all.

Minnesota must have ranked consistently high in all of the factors they took into account here. As for Wisconsin, the Cheesehead State places 16th, which also isn't too bad when you look at the entire list!
